KOESIO REINVENTS THE CODES OF PERFUMERY
The current 'Classification of Perfumes' dates back to 1984 and identifies 7 major olfactory families:
Citrus, Aromatic, Floral, Woody, Chypre, Fern, and Amber (Oriental).
Since then, with the emergence of new olfactory molecules discovered over time, perfumers have created perfumes that have revolutionized the perfume market. Faced with this observation, KOESIO has chosen to modernize and enrich this classification by defining 9 olfactory families.

In order to better align with the olfactory structure and better represent the different compositions, KOESIO has reclassified 2 old families into facets, thus recognizing their lack of distinct olfactive heart. At the same time, we have introduced 4 new families that meet the expectations and trends of the perfume market.
